Help us spread the word by becoming a Student Mental Health Research Network Ambassador!
About the network:
SMaRteN is a national research network funded by UK Research and Innovation, led by King's College London, focusing on student mental health in higher education. Working with researchers with a range of expertise, students and key stakeholders across the higher education sector, we aim to improve the understanding of student mental health.
You can read more about our work on the 'About' page.
What you will be doing as an Ambassador:
As an Ambassador, you will be the key contact point between your university and the latest student mental health research.
Your main goal will be to promote our nationwide consultation entitled ‘Student Mental Health: What Are the Key Questions?’. This could mean: circulating the survey to your peers and contacts in societies or on your course, engaging your networks to relay the survey, putting up posters in your SU and department... or any other creative ideas to circulate the survey and reach more people!
This is an initiative to identify the things students like you find important about student mental health. We hope it will help us identify areas in which to encourage research, so that it accurately reflects student priorities and issues!
You can find the project timeline below.
Why should you take part?
SMaRteN is an exciting network to be a part of – with exciting new opportunities to get involved in the field of student mental health! Not only will this opportunity jazz up your CV, you also get to make a real difference to the students of tomorrow, through research and evidence-based policy change.
And who knows, you may wish to get more involved with us through our conference or our upcoming recruitment of a Student Research Team!
You can contact smarten@kcl.ac.uk with any questions you may have about this role.
