Blog Post Guidance.

SMaRteN use our Blog to help connect stakeholders across the Higher Education sector who are interested in student mental health. If you are working on a project, have an idea you'd like to get feedback on or are looking for collaborators, you may find it helpful to write a blog about this.

The blog might include:
  • A brief summary of your work/idea;
  • Some explanation for how/why this is important/relevant for student mental health;
  • If possible or relevant, an indication of how people could (a) learn more about your work, or (b) get involved - this is particularly important if you are hoping to connect with others working on similar topics;
  • An aspiration for how your work will be relevant/beneficial to the wider student mental health sector.

Your blog should be nice and short - around 300 words, but absolutely no more than 600.

Please send your blog post to smarten@kcl.ac.uk or laura.beswick@kcl.ac.uk along with...
  1. A photo of you or your team, your university or a university logo.
  2. Your full role title and institution
  3. If you are happy for people to contact you directly, your email address, or a link to a university webpage for further contact details/information about your work.
  4. Your Twitter handle

Please check contact details for up-to-date information on who to send your blog post to.

Welcome to the SMaRteN Network! We hope to hear from you soon.

Keep us up to date with your research! We love to showcase members' work and initiatives in student mental health research.
