SMaRteN Workshop: Pedagogy and Curriculum
10th July 2019
Kathryn Ecclestone, SMaRteN leadership team member and retired Professor of Education at the University of Sheffield ran a workshop to encourage scholarly engagement with questions about the contribution of curricula and syllabus content, teaching, academic support and assessment in supporting or hindering mental health. Delegates from Professional Services and Academic departments from a range of UK institutions contributed to the day-long discussion, of which the end product was a report and a series of questions to form the basis of a pedagogy session, led by Kathryn at SMaRteN’s conference on 17th December 2019. Over the coming years we will look to explore further activity in line with this important strand of work.
